Tucker Owen Howard
5.7.98-9.20.10

Today we lost our dear sweet companion, Tucker. He loved to cuddle and was excited to see everyone. He had a good, deep bark without the bite; he was a lover. Tucker loved eating, car rides, getting into the garbage and hiding in places so small he couldn't get out. He loved winter and running through the snow. He liked when his mom sat on the floor so he could use her leg as a pillow and fall asleep during a good neck rub. And that's exactly how Tucker left the world today- his head on his mom's leg, enjoying a good neck rub.

He loved sitting on the small hill, watching the neighbor's house & waiting for his girlfriend Emma to join him outside.

He will be missed.

Tucker was such a sweet and wonderful dog. I have such great memories of the little guy. One of the most distinct is how he wanted to be a part of the after party Bethany and I hosted after your wedding. I put him on his leash so he could hang out with all the big kids in the front yard. I was a little drunk and he was a little excited, which led to him pulling me all around the yard while I was barefoot and still in my bridesmaids dress. He was the star of the after party. He was such a happy dog. Probably because he had such a good Mom. I'm so sorry, Melanie.

My first memory is when my sister Katrina brought him home. He was a runner, you had to be very careful when you opened a door because he could shoot out fast. Soooo, he did just that. We're running around after him and he goes next door. The neighbors come out on their porch and we're yelling
'grab him!'. YUP What a way to introduce yourself.
